Suna ALTUNDAŞ is a Research Assistant at Department of Geophysic Enginering of Karadeniz Technical University (KTU). She graduated from same University in 2006 with Bachelor degree. She studied determination of concrete strength by Geophysical Methods during her MSc study. She still continues her PhD program at KTÜ and studies on the distribution of natural radioactive element in granitic rocks
Oğuzhan Gumruk is a Research Assistant at Department of Geological Enginering of Karadeniz Technical University (KTU). He gained his bachhelor’s and master’s from same university. He studied fluid inclusions and alteration mineral chemistry of porphyry deposits during his masters. He visited Montan University Leoben (Austria) for 10 months for the study. He still continues his Phd program at KTU and studies on timing and petrology of porphyry ore depostis and fluid-rock interaction porphyry deposits.
Tugba EROGLU GUMRUK is a Research Assistant at Karadeniz Technical University (KTU). She received both her bachlelor’s and master’s degrees in geological engineering from KTU. She focused on the microfacies characteristics of the late Jurassic-early Cretaceous limestones in Sinop area (Central Pontides, Northern Turkey) during her master’s study. She studied one semester at Friedrich-Alexandre Nurnberg-Erlangen University (Germany) with ERASMUS scholarship. She still continues her PhD program at KTU and studies geodynamic evolution of the late Cretaceous-Tertiary basins in the southern part of the eastern Pontides orogenic belt (NE Turkey)
Emine TÜRK ÖZ is Research Assistant in Department of Geological Engineering at Karadeniz Technical University. She graduated from same University in 2004 with Bachelor degree. She studied micro faunas of Upper Cretaceous during her MSc study. She still continues PhD program on the Upper Cretaceous radiolarian and pelagic foraminifera in Eastern Pontides Orogenic Belt. Her research interests include micro-macro paleontology, sedimentology and stratigraphy.
Oğuz Sünnetci is a Research Assistant at Karadeniz Technical University, Department of Geological Engineering. He earned his BSc degree at KTU and currently doing his MSc. He is studying applied geology, soil mechanics, swelling potential of fine grained soils, and settlement.
Ufuk Celal YAĞCIOĞLU is Research Assistant at Karadeniz Technical University (KTU). He achieved with his Bachelor’s degree at KTU Geological Engineering and achieved with his M.Sc. degree at KTU The Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences. He stil continues Ph.D. programme in KTU The Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences. Zeolite and other microporous material mineralogy and crystallography, basic volcanic rocks hydrothermal alteration, stable isotope geochemistry, XRD and SEM-EDX investigations on secondary minerals are some of his research interests. He is member of CSS and IZA.
Merve Yıldız is PhD student and research assistant in the department of geological engineering, Karadeniz Technical University, Turkey. She obtained his BSc and MSc degrees from the Istanbul Technical University, Turkey. Her research interests include dolomite, carbonate sedimentology, sedimentary geochemistry, sedimentary petrography and petrology and igneous petrology.
